Saturday. In the morning we leave Minsk at 07:00. We reach the city of Miory, meet with our guide, a professional entomologist and move to the first trail of Yelnya bog. We will have a walk during which we get to know the plants growing at the bog, birds and animals inhabiting this place. And today insects of the bog are in our focus! We will catch them with special equipment and find out a lot of interesting and even funny facts about their life.
After a walk along the first trail we will go for lunch to an eco-lodge. You can expect nourishing and tasty meals cooked with local products in a Russian stove and on fire.
After we move to another bog trail. Here we again will be accompanied by an entomologist and will continue our discovery of the insects' world.
In the evening, we are arriving to an eco-lodge, where the dinner is already served! After that we will enjoy a steam of the sauna which is located just on the shore of the lake.
Sunday. Today we explore Yelnya from the southern side. We walk along a new eco-trail, and then accompanied by a local guide, who perfectly knows the area, walk along non-tourist paths deep into the bog, to picturesque peat lakes.
We have a picnic just right at the bog, near the lake. We provide food for the entire route, you have nothing to worry about!
On the way back we will visit a cafe in Hlubokae town for having a quick and tasty dinner. Arriving to Minsk about 23:00.
